This year’s GAIL’s Garden Party (our eighth year!) will be held on Saturday 21st September on Oriel Place, Hampstead, between 9am-5pm.
We started the Garden Party in 2006 to say a big thanks to everyone in Hampstead for welcoming us with such open arms, and we’ve been back every year since. This year we wanted to celebrate the people and companies we deal with every day. Our buddies Paxton and Whitfield, Hansen and Lydersen, Sipsmith Gin, The Fresh Olive Company, Boutique Beers and Chegworth Valley are joining us to host stalls on the day.
There’ll be hot food provided by GAIL’s Kitchen, bread and cakes from our bakery, live jazz and children’s activities. With our partners at Belu Water, this year we’ll be supporting WaterAid as our charity partner.
Join the us for the fun from 9am-5pm on Sat 21st September.
We’ve been delighted to collaborate with the lovely Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery this summer; with a different artist in each of our bakeries, there’s been plenty to look at along with the food! You can read more about the project on our microsite.
For those in the Soho area, there’s an opportunity to meet our exhibiting artist Laura Jordan on Thursday 8th August from 6.30pm. Pop into the bakery to discuss Laura’s brilliant cityscapes with her. Look forward to seeing you there.
There’s no denying it any longer – after quite the hiatus, summer is most definitely here in London. Though the menu at GAIL’s Kitchen has changed over the seasons since we opened in November 2012, it’s out with the old and in with the new now the sun’s out. We’ve refreshed the menu with new dishes like sticky chicken with roast garlic, heritage carrots & almonds and in the puddings department – our favourite – chocolate marscapone custard tart with blackcurrant cream. Swing by for lunch or dinner at Bayley Street to try it out.
