This year’s, our (ninth!) Garden Party will be held on Saturday 20th September on Oriel Place, Hampstead, from 11am-5pm.
Join us as we celebrate some of our favourite things – food and drink, mainly – with the help of about 20 of our friends.
We’ll be flanked by the likes of Sipsmith Gin, a barbie courtesy of The Hampstead Butcher, gorgeous cheeses from Paxton and Whitfield, fruit and veg from the lovely guys from Chegworth Valley Farm, handmade chocolates, fresh juices, handroasted coffees, local beers, and much more.
There’ll be children’s activities from Walker Books and face-painting and balloon animals for the little ones.
And, of course, some tunes from the fabulous The Tickled Dixies.
Fingers crossed for the weather!
For two weeks we’re celebrating summer with our ice cream sandwich pop up in GAIL’s Wardour Street. Join us Weds-Sat nights from 7pm for homemade ice cream sandwiches and DJ Morgan Cannon.
We’ve got cinnamon brioche toast, vanilla bean ice cream, caramel or chocolate fudge sauce and salted peanuts, or if fruit is your thing, try the brioche toast with crème fraiche ice cream, mixed berries and raspberry coulis. We’re also making a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie sandwich with toasted pistachio ice cream, dollop of sour cherry compote, fresh cherries and chopped pistachios.
Hope to see you there.
Wednesday-Saturday nights, 7-10pm, 20th-30th August
For the last few months, our head chef Roy has been playing cupid in the kitchen, creating scrumptious sweets for our very favourite customers (that’s you).
From rose-topped vanilla cupcakes and red-lipped cookies to our gingerbread man “in love”, each one is ready for romance in its own special way.
And just like the rest of our bread and cakes, each one has been made without artificial additives or preservatives. So that lovely pink colour you see is totally natural and straight from the berry.
Valentine’s treats can be found in our bakeries from 30th January.
Happy Valentine’s Day! Loaf, us x
Roll up, roll up! We’re teaming up with the Indytute to put on a breakfast news briefing at GAIL’s Kitchen with Lucy Tobin and Katie Law from the Evening Standard. Join us at 10am on Sunday 13 October to discuss the papers with the journalists who bring you the news. They will discuss their roles at the paper and how their days are constructed, from deciding on which stories are published to the first edition hitting the streets.
We’re putting on coffee and croissants for everyone and we’re looking forward to getting stuck into the week’s news. Tickets are £23 and available here.
We recently closed our Fulham Road bakery for refurbishment; after a fresh lick of paint it’s looking brand new all over again. To celebrate, we’re hosting a relaunch party on Wednesday 11 September from 6.30pm. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to attend; there will be drinks, nibbles and a representative from the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery there to talk about the work we have hung by Australian artist David Bromley.
This year’s GAIL’s Garden Party (our eighth year!) will be held on Saturday 21st September on Oriel Place, Hampstead, between 9am-5pm.
We started the Garden Party in 2006 to say a big thanks to everyone in Hampstead for welcoming us with such open arms, and we’ve been back every year since. This year we wanted to celebrate the people and companies we deal with every day. Our buddies Paxton and Whitfield, Hansen and Lydersen, Sipsmith Gin, The Fresh Olive Company, Boutique Beers and Chegworth Valley are joining us to host stalls on the day.
There’ll be hot food provided by GAIL’s Kitchen, bread and cakes from our bakery, live jazz and children’s activities. With our partners at Belu Water, this year we’ll be supporting WaterAid as our charity partner.
Join the us for the fun from 9am-5pm on Sat 21st September.
