GAIL’s Garden Party 2013 in Hampstead

GAIL's Garden Party 2012

This year’s GAIL’s Garden Party (our eighth year!) will be held on Saturday 21st September on Oriel Place, Hampstead, between 9am-5pm.

We started the Garden Party in 2006 to say a big thanks to everyone in Hampstead for welcoming us with such open arms, and we’ve been back every year since. This year we wanted to celebrate the people and companies we deal with every day. Our buddies Paxton and Whitfield, Hansen and Lydersen, Sipsmith Gin, The Fresh Olive Company, Boutique Beers and Chegworth Valley are joining us to host stalls on the day.

There’ll be hot food provided by GAIL’s Kitchen, bread and cakes from our bakery, live jazz and children’s activities. With our partners at Belu Water, this year we’ll be supporting WaterAid as our charity partner.

Join the us for the fun from 9am-5pm on Sat 21st September.

Meet the artist at GAIL’s in Soho

Scandal II - Laura Jordan

We’ve been delighted to collaborate with the lovely Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery this summer; with a different artist in each of our bakeries, there’s been plenty to look at along with the food! You can read more about the project on our microsite.

For those in the Soho area, there’s an opportunity to meet our exhibiting artist Laura Jordan on Thursday 8th August from 6.30pm. Pop into the bakery to discuss Laura’s brilliant cityscapes with her. Look forward to seeing you there.

GAIL’s Bakery & Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery

Just Walking The Dogs by Ian Penney, at GAIL's Crouch End

We’re very excited to be collaborating with the brilliant Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery this summer. Celebrating their 25th anniversary, each GAIL’s will be showcasing artwork from a different Hossack artist for three months, starting in June. With our history of hosting cafes at the Frieze Art Fair and the Serpentine Gallery, our foot in the art world is leaving a firm imprint! The artists to feature include Laura Jordan, Peter Clark and Rob Tucker, to name but a few.

To see even more details on the collaboration, visit our dedicated microsite – RHGAIL’s.

We’ve made up a commemorative tote bag, and visitors to each bakery will receive an art map of London showing the artists at each bakery. For the dedicated – the first ten to visit all of the bakeries will win the prize of dinner for two at GAIL’s Kitchen, and a limited edition print from the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery.
