Here is some useful information about ordering online:
What does online ordering mean for GAIL’s?
We offer a pre-order service for our corporate and residential customers and these orders are processed through our website. Orders can be made for collection or delivery and customers can choose a date and time up to a month in advance.
Do all your bakeries offer this service?
Not all our bakeries offer this service. If you would like to order, our system will present you with the option of delivery or collection from one of our bakeries that does offer the service.
When do I have to place my order by?
Orders for Tuesday to Friday need to be placed by 12pm the day before delivery.
Orders for Saturday and Sunday need to be placed by 12pm on Friday.
Orders for Monday need to be placed by 5pm on Friday.
Can I cancel or amend my order?
Of course you can. You can cancel or amend orders right up to the cut-off time. If you’re having problems doing this please contact us on 020 7625 0060 and we’ll be able to help you. See “How can I be sure to order in time?”
What times can I collect or have a delivery
We deliver seven days a week. Our time slots vary by bakery but generally are every 30 minutes between 7.30am and 5pm. To ensure we deliver on time, our weekend delivery slots are one hour long.
Is there a minimum order value?
The minimum order is for delivery is £30. The minimum order for collection is £10.
Do you deliver to my area?
We deliver across central London and Oxford, and most other postcodes where we have a bakery. Use our postcode checker to see if your postcode is included or at check out. If your postcode is not in our delivery area please get in touch with us and we will see if we can help.
Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery charges vary depending on the distance from our bakeries. Please contact us if you would like to discuss.
How can I contact you?
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm. We can be reached by phone at 020 7724 3349 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you need to speak to us about an issue with a delivery at the weekend, please call the bakery your food is coming from.
What if my order is late or has missing items?
If something is likely to delay your order we aim to call our customers to warn them. If you have not heard from us and your delivery is late, please contact us at email@example.com or 02077243349 and we will help. If it concerns a weekend delivery please get in touch with the bakery your food is coming from and they will be able to help.
Can I pay by card?
Our website accepts all credit and debit cards, including American Express.
Can I pay on account?
If you are looking to place orders regularly we are happy to look into setting up an account for you. Please send us your request via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will conduct a credit check before offering you a credit account and appropriate credit level. Your credit limit will be dynamic and be affected by orders you place and payments you make.
Can I order over the phone/email?
All orders are placed online at www.gailsbread.co.uk. If you have any problems placing your order, please contact us via phone or email and we will be able to help.
Can I send my delivery to a different address?
You can add as many addresses as you want. If you are having difficulties setting up a new address, please get in touch with us by phone or email.
Can I make adjustments to the set boxes?
It is not possible to make adjustments to the set boxes. These have all been designed to make ordering easy and include a built in discount compared to the sum of the parts.
Can I order anything I want from the menu?
Yes. We have arranged the menu in the way that makes sense to us but you are welcome to order something from the breakfast menu for lunch, for example.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
All our products listed on the website have allergen and nutritional information so you can make an informed judgment. You will be able to filter our products to see just our vegetarian and vegan options. Please note that due to the risk of cross contamination we are not able to guarantee our products are free of the following products: nuts, milk, eggs, wheat, soya, gluten, sesame, celery, fish, sulphites and mustard. We do not use the following products in any of our facilities: lupin, peanuts, mollusks and crustaceans.
Can I order hot drinks or food?
Our take-away food is not served hot. At the moment we are not able to deliver hot drinks because we do not have a solution to ensure the quality is up to our high standards. We are working on a solution so watch this space.
Does your food come with cutlery and napkins?
Our system allows you to order cutlery and napkins with your order.
