We didn’t know what Christmas was going to look like this year. For 15 years we’ve baked for our communities, but for the first time it wasn’t obvious what we needed to do because the world around us is so uncertain. In spite of this, there have been moments of joy, many of those in our home kitchens, and so we decided that the most useful thing we could do this Christmas would be to bake and deliver festive gifts to the people we hold dear.
We’ve curated gift hampers for every occasion – from breakfast feasts to aperitifs – wrapped up to order. Send boxes filled with festive treats to family and friends; leave a box of mince pies on a neighbour’s doorstep; and bake at home, letting the scents of sugar and spice drift through open windows.
We’ve collaborated with friends to bring you beautiful gifts for your home, giving local makers and small, innovative brands a platform to reach you, our customers. We wanted to celebrate craftsmanship, partnership and creativity and so we’ve got beautiful hand-made pieces that are as much about the stories behind them as the gifts themselves. We’ve also tried to make gifting as easy as possible by improving our website so you can order from home and we’ll do the rest.
It may not be a traditional Christmas this year, but we’re determined to share the joy we find from baking with you, how we do it best. Merry Christmas, everyone.
