How to earn Stamps and Rewards

Earn one stamp for every transaction you make in store, online or through our mobile app.

Earn an additional stamp when you spend more than £20 in a single transaction.

To prevent fraud, you will not be able to earn a stamp on transactions taking place within 15 minutes of a transaction on which a stamp was awarded.

As your stamps add up, you’ll earn rewards. Rewards are earned when you’ve collected 9 stamps.

Once you have collected 9 stamps, the digital stamp card in your app will reset to zero stamps. You will receive a voucher in your app to redeem a reward (set out at Section 6, below).

If you’re at the till, you’ll need to show the QR code to the team member in order to assign the loyalty stamp to your account. If you’re ordering online make sure you’ve logged in using the email address associated with your GAIL’s Loyalty Programme account to earn stamps.

If you use Guest Checkout, you won’t be able to earn stamps.

Forgot to scan your QR code? You have 30 days after the transaction to claim the stamp(s) by contacting our Customer Experience team. You will need to show them a receipt for the transaction. If you do not have a receipt, it will not be possible to update your stamp balance.

You can’t currently earn stamps on orders placed with our delivery partners.

Non-food items like Gift Cards, bag charges, delivery fees and other fees don’t count towards the minimum spend for stamps. If you’re not sure, just ask a member of staff.

Stamps and rewards are personal to the GAIL’s Loyalty Programme account holder and can’t be grouped with another account holder or transferred to someone else’s account.

If you have multiple GAIL’s Loyalty Programme accounts (for example, if you signed up with multiple email addresses), it’s not possible to merge stamps and rewards onto a single account.

Checking your GAIL’s Loyalty Programme balance

You can check your account balance in the GAIL’s app.

We reserve the right to correct or amend the balance in your account if we think there’s been an error. If this has happened and you’d like to dispute, it just get in touch.

Redeeming Rewards

Rewards can be redeemed from the day you’ve earned one and are valid for up to two months from the date of issue.

Any Rewards that haven’t been redeemed by the expiry date will be forfeited and removed from your account.

Reward options are either a barista-made drink, including coffee, tea, hot chocolate and iced as well as hot beverages, OR a loaf of bread.

Rewards can be redeemed at any participating GAIL’s bakery, online at gailsbread.co.uk as well as the GAIL’s app.

If you’re at the till, you’ll need to show the reward voucher, found in your GAIL’s app.

If you’re ordering online , make sure you’ve logged into your GAIL’s Loyalty Programme account and apply the voucher to the online transaction.

If you use Guest Checkout, you won’t be able to redeem rewards.

There’s no cash alternative to rewards.

Limitations of use of the GAIL’s Loyalty Programme

We don’t warrant or represent that GAIL’s Loyalty Programme will always be accepted at participating GAIL’s restaurants. For example, in the unlikely event of a failure of our IT and communications systems, we may not be able to add stamps or allow you to redeem a reward during such a system failure.
